Island Boy & Man of God
“Every morning as I look at myself in the mirror, I thank God for each and every day, and I steer at the mirror, and I see glimpses of what my future holds. I've seen a band playing behind me, I've seen a microphone on hand, I see every melody sang depicting the pain of a child's cry, and the high pitched note of a mother's love. In the mirror, I see what I'm ought to become, as I see it all in the midst of my future. A climax will be told from every melody of my voice. My future embodies my talent, my passion, and my being as an individual. To me, my future upholds a dream that has been seen but not fulfilled, yet has the cure to eradicate today's dilemmas. My pain and happiness aren’t to be spoken of, rather sung with melodies of an untold story. I've dreamt, enemies and friends holding hands while I sing, the sick being healed, and hate being replaced with love. Furthermore, a dream of my island being healed with my passion has reassured me that there is where I’d be. The power bestowed upon my future has been my constant reminder to remain focus. My future holds the solution to the everyday world that has been drowning day by day. The uncanniness that my future holds may seem unreachable, but the determination that I have, makes the impossible reachable.”
