Philly rap singer Boogieman Dela has always had a love for all types of music. Since he comes from a musical background, you can say his talent was genetic. At an early age, his expression and vision did conflict with his family’s religious view. He expressed his feelings in poetry, but having a heritage of faith, his music didn't always represent his background views.
Before high school, Boogie was writing music for his close friends and family to hear. His obvious “way with words” caught the attention of others around him as his lyrics create a visual picture for listeners. Boogieman started making a name for himself in high school where he was dominant in the battle rap scene. As he matures and masters his craft, Boogieman Dela has come into his own, with a vision and a word of encouragement for survival within the “jungle of Life”. Be on the lookout for Boogieman Dela' forthcoming audio portrait titled “Dirty Harmony” coming 2014. In addition to music, Boogieman Dela pursues a degree in Multimedia Design to show another genre of his artistic ability. He designs all of his own graphics and web designs for his music, as well as for other artists in the industry and small businesses. |
