Killing Writer's Block
by Marcus Antonio Belgrove

Many great artists have suffered from writers block or the condition of being unable to think of what to write or how to proceed with writing. I’ve put together the top 3 ailments that’s killing your writing dream.

  • Scheduling: It’s never the right time to write or you don’t know how to start.
  • Anxiety: Many writers are just scared of being critiqued or rejected.
  • Meticulousness: Nothing you write is good enough.
At www.uluvmystyle.com we want to help you avoid the void of writer's block by using some simple tips and concepts for all writers. Rather you are spitting bars or writing romance novels we all get intellectually stuck. I’ve been writing for blogs, people, and businesses for over 15 years now and I want to share some things I learned in hopes you get that final draft to your next great masterpiece.

by  Marcus Antonio Belgrove

Clean eating is a trendy term floating around in various crowds from the blue collar Walmart shopper to the Trader Joe’s hipsters & the Whole Food’s young urban professional. Let’s take a look at the foods that are considered clean and by clean we mean lean meats, mostly organic products, minimally processed foods, Non-GMO and for the most part whole. Pretty much the healthiest of natural foods that the earth not some synthetic garbage the local science lab has to offer. Clean is having the food as close to natural as possible.

July 2015  Was The Warmest Month in Recorded History

by Marcus Antonio Belgrove

Climate Change You Can Believe In Antarctica Is melting fast! NASA Scientist and researchers alike agree that this is "past the point of no return," NASA glaciologist Eric Rignot told reporters by phone Monday according to CNN. According to NASA and The United Nations' most recent climate change report estimates sea levels could rise from about 1 foot to 3 feet by 2100, levels that could displace tens of millions of people from coastal areas around the world. That report did not take into account the current situation on the west coast of Antarctica. The ice melting in Antarctica has increased 77% since 1973. According to NASA warm water flowing from climate change regions began to dissolve the massive glaciers at the base until they break off and head to warmer waters in the oceans.  This latest iceberg to break off the glacier is the size of Atlanta according to NASA reports. This creates an unstoppable chain reaction.

What's In your favorite fast Foods?

by Marcus Antonio Belgrove

We all love one thing or another about fast food. Just like love,  it can hurt you pretty f___in' bad, when you find out the truth was a lie, right? Well most people just eat and don't actually know what they are eating.

They just like taste. And taste is what these companies promote, not ingredients. All of these cancer causing agents are all for taste and display, not for nutrition. So you need to ask yourself: What Am I Eating For? Nutrition or Taste?

But Americans love to eat and eat we do. We don't want some skinny vegan telling us what to eat... right? Well that skinny vegan may weak looking but their bodies are healthy and strong.

5 Steps To Having A Better Day!
by Ishmael Mayhew of dope-ish.com

1. Center- Usually it's what we think about first that sets the tone for how our day is going to go. If we wake up with our thoughts first on issues like money, family issues, health woes and relationship trouble then, we can pretty much expect to have a crappy day. To alleviate this it's best to "center" yourself. It means that you set your clock earlier to allow yourself to unapologetically reserve 10-15 minutes of personal time for yourself only at the very beginning of your day (yup, right when you roll out of bed). Within that time you pray, savor your coffee or your favorite tea, sit in stillness, take a longer shower than usual,  ponder good thoughts or relaxing nature outside and allow no one or nothing to interrupt this period of time; for ANY reason. Center.

MTV’s "White People" Is What This Generation Needs
by Ishmael Mayhew

Staff Writer

MTV's new docu-series, "White People" couldn't come at a better time. As much as we would like to blame media for it's overkill of negative images in the recent racial genocide on African-American and Latino American citizens, it has done something good; made America pay attention, however distorted its portrayal may be.

The show, created by Jose Antonio Vargas, a legal immigrant from the Philippines, delves into all of the questions that need answers and dialogue during this tumultuous period of re-occurring racial tension on the U.S. What is most surprising about the show is that the answers are so honest, especially from the younger white generation. "White People" didn't cut any corners and gave an insightful perspective of racism, white privilege, immigration and discrimination from more than one minority group's view.

The Quiet Storm That Is J. Cole

Picture
As we all know that J. Cole's album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, made major waves on the charts when it debuted. Cole sold 354,000 copies of this album in its first week and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was the fifth largest sales week for an album in 2014. We think we know why J. Cole's album did so well.
