Largely due to his sale of Roca Wear Company which netted him well over $70 million, and his newly acquired sports business Rock Nation has contributed to bring his total net worth upwards of $520 million dollars.

We haven't heard much from the Doc lately. Maybe it's because he's been too busy listening to the world's must have headphones, or counting his hundreds of millions of dollars he has amassed in a very short period of time. Sliding into number 2 on the Forbes List is the creator of Beats headphones, rapper and producer Dr. Dre. But no one compares to the wealth that Diddy is counting. Coming in at #1 with a net wealth of $700 million dollars.

Bryan “Birdman” Williams, also known as Baby, earns the #4 slot on Forbes’ list. His 50 percent stake in Cash Money Records provides the majority of his $160 million fortune. Seems cash Money is all Birdman needs to be focused on in 160 million ways.

How clever of 50 to make millions off of water. 50 cent is #5 on Forbes’ list. Curtis Jackson’s wealth largely comes from his VitaminWater pact, from which he earned a reported $100 million.  We can see that the richest men in Hip Hop, are the sucessfull business men outside of rapping. If there is any lesson here to be learned and absorbed, you must know there is more to show business than just the "show." Lucrative Business deals are the surest way to ensure your eating for years to come. We also know that the surest way to maintain wealth is to diversify your assets. Meaning they aren't just investing in Hip Hop. From Sports Teams, clothing lines, liquors, headphones, and cable television. These men are ensuring their survival and weath for years to come.

And then there is Diddy. Diddy has invested in two major projects that will make him a billionaire  with a “B” very soon. According to Forbes Magazine "His newly-launched REVOLT TV has provided him with a majority equity stake that could one day make him a Hip Hop’s first billionaire.”For starters, his deal with Ciroc and now Time Warner Company has Diddy sees nothing but dollar signs. Diddy eats at the top of the Food Chain with a staggering $700 million net worth. Need we say more? Now you know kids, don't just be a rapper when you can so much more. And make so much more.
