ANTHONY WISEMAN
Growing up in Warrenton, North Carolina and being raised in the church, at a very young age I discovered my love for art. Getting a lot of my inspiration from things and people around me, I began expressing my love for art through multiple ways. Singing was the first, over the years I was heavily influenced by my family members. My mother bringing me soul playing for me Maxwell, Angie Stone, and Billie Holiday. My father introducing me to jazz by playing Najee for me and other artists such as Luther Vandross. My older sister, though inspired me in another way that connected deeply to me. She was my opposite, but in our differences I began to love hip hop music and go-go music. She’d always let me listen to her TLC tracks, and I would always sit back and listen to artists such as Nas, Lil Kim, and Busta Rhymes with her as well as. Moving to New Jersey in 2006 the more I grew and discovered more sounds the more my imagination began to blossom. It was like magic to me, and by the time I’d started high School… I was well on my own with finding my own inspirations. Growing fond of musicians such as Prince, Kid Cudi, Lady Gaga, and bands such as Coldplay I began to write my own music, though never was brave enough to share any of my art with anyone. Though today, with troubles still haunting me, and battles still coming my way, I have found that within myself there is something that was made for the world to see.

Still navigating through life and learning so many things about people and the world, I have found that my spirit longs for a higher knowledge of the things that surround me. Call it a spiritual awakening, but I realize that now is the time for a change. No more suffering from depression, and hiding behind walls, afraid of the world. I’m not perfect, but I know for certain that the groove in me and the fire in my heart burns with the goal to make a difference in the world. Being alone is the most painful feeling I've ever faced, and self disappointment really showed me how I needed to adjust my life. Art is my love, whether it is me drawing, playing my keyboard, singing, writing or even taking pictures. I have learned to capture the world as I move through it and to fuel my work through the things I hear, see, taste, touch, hear, and feel. What my future looks like to me is a beautiful place, and while
I aim high to achieve my goals, and accomplish grand things.

As a humble spirit, and person of peace I have come to realize that things happen, and you never honestly know where you are going to end up in this world. Money, fame, and power are not things I need to feel successful because my absolute main goal in life is to reach out to others, and show them that they are not alone. Loneliness affects so many people we do not know, and often times the people we see with the biggest smiles. We all need someone, and I want to be that someone for those loners through my music, my photos, my words, and my art. My name is Anthony Wiseman, and I am your brother.
